FileVision lends a hand with loan processing
Mountain 1st Bank & Trust implements Information relationship management solution to speed loan document retrieval
Mountain 1st Bank & Trust, a highly successful community bank in North Carolina, recently implemented FileVision in its loan department to improve loan processing. Using FileVision, they are attaching scanned images of documents provided by the customer to the digital loan file making documents available in read-only format to three branch locations. According to Kirk Robinson, Chief Credit Officer, Mountain 1st Bank & Trust, “all three branches have reported quicker and more efficient retrieval of documents”. In addition, they are logging customer phone calls and commentary in the Notes section of the FileVision Information Relationship Management module, which is designed to improve customer service and response.
As the testing phase wraps up, Mountain 1st plans to implement all of the FileVision document management, document imaging and workflow features which will allow them to completely automate the loan approval process. We look forward to keeping you posted on their progress. For more information on how Mountain 1st Bank and Trust is using FileVision in their shareholder department continue reading.
